For 25 years Chai Wallahs have offered consistent performance platforms to independent musicians across the land. We wanted to extend that platform to independent festivals and grassroots music venues alike. To offer the opportunity to come together, pool our resources, and provide a new sustainable blueprint for the industry going forward.

Chai Wallahs, Diplomats of Sound (CIC) and Grassroots Rising (CBS) are in the process of building a completely radical, utterly mind-blowing, independent collaborative festival model.

Where it all began is set to take place on the 18th to 21st June 2026 at Grange Farm, Cambridgeshire – Home to the legendary Secret Garden Party.

It will feature a plethora of incredible musicians and artists, the finest sound systems the UK has to offer, and a veritable smorgasbord of innovative, eclectic and downright delicious food and drinks traders.

By answering this short survey, you will be helping us create a bold new festival model. To show our gratitude we will enter you into a draw for your chance to win a whole bunch of chai goodies including tickets to ‘Where It All Began’, hoodies, t-shirts, beanie's, cocktails and local gig tickets from our venue partners.
